What We Do

YOGA: A physical, mental, and spiritual discipline originating in ancient India. The goals of yoga range from attaining a healthy, balanced body to moksa (liberation of the mind). One of the eight limbs of yoga is Asana which refers to the physical poses. As a teacher, I aim that yours is a personal experience for each individual and no two sessions are identical or feel the same for your body or mind. Yoga can be practised by anyone, and physical strength or flexibility are not prerequisites as is often believed. AYURVEDA: A 5,000-year-old system of natural healing that has its origins in Vedic culture of India. More than a mere system of treating illness, Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science). Ayurveda reminds us that health is a balanced and dynamic integration between our environment, body and spirit.
